When you submit through WeTransfer, WindTechPro may receive your name, email address, LinkedIn profile URL, message and submitted photos or videos. These are used to receive and review contributions, prepare WindTechPro Highlights, provide contributor credit and contact you about relevant publications. Content may include identifiable people.

This website

This standalone page has no analytics, advertising cookies, contributor accounts or database. It stores only your selected interface language in browser local storage. It does not store the checkbox selection or send it to a server. The hosting provider may process technical request data, including IP addresses and server logs, to deliver and secure the website; the provider and log retention must be confirmed for the chosen hosting environment. Any future integration into another website must be reviewed for additional tracking.

Legal bases

The proposed basis for optional publication of identifiable content is consent, where required and validly obtained. Receiving and organising voluntary submissions may rely on steps necessary to administer the submission terms or legitimate interests, subject to confirmation and an appropriate assessment. The controller must confirm the applicable bases for each purpose before launch. The checkbox alone does not establish a verifiable record of consent for an individual transfer.

WeTransfer and recipients

WeTransfer handles the transfer under its own Privacy Policy. WindTechPro manually downloads contributions for review and editing. Access is limited to authorised people and necessary providers. Selected material and any agreed credit become public on WindTechPro's website or social channels. Those services may process information under their own policies.

Retention and security
